Traditional Thai massage

This unique Thai traditional massage is gaining popularity across the globe as patrons experience it. Thai massage incorporates the use of the massage therapist’s palms, fingers, elbows, knees and feet to provide acupressure to the body’s ten major energy channels or “Sen” lines. This technique is designed to release blocked energy and promote relaxation. Through stretching and passive joint movement, Thai massage can restore the flow of positive energy and provide relief for strained or tightened muscles and improves blood circulation.

Aromatherapy Thai massage

Aromatherapy Thai Massage combines the power to touch with the sense of smell. An effective aid to relaxation, the massage helps to smooth away stress, unknotting tense and aching muscles. The skin, blood and lymphatic systems are stimulated, which boost circulation, aid cellular removal and remove toxic wastes. As tense muscles relax, stiff joints loosen, and nerves are soothed, an all-over feeling of relaxation comes about for both mind and body.

Thai deep Tissue massage

Deep tissue massage is best for giving attention to certain painful, stiff "trouble spots" in your body. The massage therapist uses slow, deliberate strokes that focus pressure on layers of muscles, tendons, or other tissues deep under your skin. Though less rhythmic than other types of massage, deep tissue massage may be therapeutic - relieving chronic patterns of tension and helping with muscle injuries, such as back sprain

Thai reflexology foot massage

Reflexology is an ancient art of healing based on the principle that there are isolated pressure points in the feet, legs, hands and ears which correspond with specific zones in the human body. When these pressure points are stimulated through massage they send a message or wave of energy to various organs and systems within the body and promote optimal functioning. This technique can serve to improve circulation as well as addressing health issues related to specific organs and/or body systems. Reflexology recruits the entire body, both internally and externally, to relieve tension and promote well-being and relaxation. Therapists typically use their hands, fingers and thumbs to provide stimulation to pressure points. Thai reflexology techniques are used upon request and incorporate the use of a tool made from wood which is used to apply pressure to the feet and glide over/through the legs and knees. Both techniques promote a holistic approach to massage therapy which benefits the client from the inside-out.

Back, neck and shoulder massage

This massage utilizes finger pressure along with the hands and elbows on tension areas across the back and shoulders. The treatment eases strain and tension, mobilizes stiff joints, and improves blood circulation. A great treat after a long day.

Thai hot compress massage

Thai herbal treatments are used to soothe and to relieve pain and inflammations. Important in the application are the selection of herbs with therapeutic qualities, such as prai, ginger, turmeric, kaffir lime, camphor, tamarind and lemongrass. A mix of herbs is wrapped in a compress, then steamed (in bamboo or electrical steamer) and when hot, applied to the body by pressing, gliding or smearing in circular, linear and/or rolling movements.
