LOWER ST MICHAEL'S CAVE
The cost is £25pp for non-residents and £15pp for residents of Gibraltar.
Minimum number is 5, and the maximum number 10
Age groups- All participants need to be 10 years old or over and Children younger than 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Essentials- Outdoor shoes, boots, or very good trainers are necessary.
***No flop-flips, open-toe shoes, sandals, Crocs, foot-gloves, or heels will be allowed soon entry.
Attention- Wear clothing that you do not mind getting damp, and most likely dirty (long trousers recommended).
Duration- can take up to 3 hours depending on the size and agility of the group.
Activity- It is also a very physical activity so a good level of fitness is needed. There will be climbing and the use of fixed ropes. All participants should be able to swim.
The meeting point- is outside the exit from the Upper St. Michael’s Cave.
Covid- All participants are required to wear a face mask (Covid 19), as advised by the Director of Public Health. You must provide your own compliant mask Exceptions will be considered for a family living with in the same house hold or a work team working in the same office.
Health- Participants should not suffer from or have the following: Heart Disease of any nature, Claustrophobia, Epilepsy, A Fear of Water. And Asthma sufferers must have their Inhaler with them at all times.
The activity should not be undertaken if pregnant.
^If you have undergone surgery of any kind in the past 12 months please inform the guide before the activity takes place.
^Alcohol must not have been consumed before the activity. If the guide believes that you have consumed alcohol or that a person exhibits signs of intoxication (of any kind) or a hangover they will be refused access.
^All attendees must agree to follow and abide by the guides instructions at all times.
^Finally, you cannot hold the Environment and Climate change Agency or the Guide responsible in any way for any accident, incident, injury or loss resulting from your visit to the Lower Saint Michael’s Cave series.
^The guide has absolute discretion and may refuse to include any person or persons on the activity.
